Purpose and core features of simi

simi is a social interaction app for people around the world. Users can browse and join public voice rooms, create and display profiles, follow people they are interested in, and stay connected through one-to-one private messaging. We aim to support a safe, respectful, and transparent community.

How Google Sign-In is used

Google Sign-In verifies account identity. During first registration, and only after explicit authorization, simi may read a name, profile photo, birthday, and gender as suggested profile values that the user can review and change before saving.

  • We do not retain Google ID Tokens, Access Tokens, Refresh Tokens, or client secrets.
  • We request only the minimum permissions used by current product features.
  • Users may revoke Google access in their Google Account and may request account deletion in simi.
